Features & Benefits

Our sunshades create safe, shaded areas on courts, protecting players from harmful UV rays, wind, and rain. They provide a cool respite from direct sunlight, and a spot to keep drinks cool.

Innovative Design

Our patent-pending Stay Cool As A Pickle sunshades offer UV protection and a 20% temperature reduction, keeping players cool and comfortable during breaks on the court.

Stay Cool & Dink On!

Studies show that hot days impair our cognition and make us more aggressive, irritable, and impulsive. "Your tendency to act without thinking, or not be able to stop yourself from acting a certain way appears to be affected by the heat," said Kimberly Meidenbauer, as assistant professor of psychology at Washington State University. "Take the heat seriously and prioritize staying cool and hydrated. Air conditioning, sitting under a fan while spritzing yourself with cold water, taking a cool shower, or finding nearby cooling center can all help your brain continue to function at its best."

Easy Installation

Ready to use in just three minutes:

  • Install the sunshade at the high corners of the fence, forming a right angle. The fence should be between 7ft and 9ft high.

  • Using a step ladder, install the sunshade so that the ‘Stay Cool as A Pickle’ logo tag is on the side facing the ground, and the logo in the left corner.

  • Use two of the four double latch hooks provided for the middle and use one on each side (refer to the diagram at the bottom).

  • Attach the first two hooks to the D-ring in the middle and secure them to either side of the fence line, with the corner fence pole in the center.

  • Two Carabiners are included which can be used in place of the 2 double latch hooks to provide a tighter fit to the fence line, with a corner fence pole in the center.

  • Attach the third and fourth hooks to the D-rings at the other ends and secure them to the sides of the fence line.

  • The double latch hooks’ flexibility allows for quick removal or setup of the sunshades in less than 2-3 minutes.

  • Note: you may want to adjust the slope of the sides, either lower or higher, according to your facility’s preference.

  • An optional lock can be purchased separately if you wish to secure the sunshade in place.

  • For optimal shade coverage, it is advised to install the sunshade on every high corner of the fence line.

  • It is recommended to take down the sunshade in the event of severe weather.

  • It is recommended to take down the sunshade when the season ends and the nets come down.
